Of the work you have posted, your Stranger Things analysis is good – I really like the way you’ve picked out key details from the mise-en-scene and written about what they communicate to the audience. In terms of how to improve the work you have posted, you need to make sure your written analysis has enough depth and detail for GCSE standard. For example, your WaterAid post is very short and does not offer enough detail for GCSE level so this is an area to focus on in future assignments. This is not a major criticism – you were in Year 8 only a few weeks ago! – but it is something we can develop over the next few months. Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? How can you improve the depth and detail of your media analysis?

 This first month of media has been fun and interesting.I have learnt a load of new things so far.In my opinion my strongest piece of work was the stranger things analysis.My weakest was the 10qs . I need to learn more about connotation and describing better.

Daily Mirror - Representation and Industry

  Representation 1) What political party does the  Daily Mirror  support? Labour party . 2) How does the  Daily Mirror  usually represent rich and powerful people?
