A conglomerate is when a big company owns a smaller company , Doctor strange is made by marvel who are owned by disney meaning disney is a conglomerate .

BBFC - British board of film classification .

4) What age rating was Doctor Strange given? Why?

12A . It had had small parts of vilence but 12A means kids 12 and over can watch it but children under 12 have to watch it with parents meaning they get a bigger audience . 

5) How was Doctor Strange promoted to an audience? List at least three different methods used by the film's marketing campaign.

Doctor strange was promoted ; IMAX - only blockbusters can afford this effect and everyone loves it , they used social media to promote it such as youtube , snapchat filters , ig lives and more , they also make posters which are placed everywhere which means that they get more viewers .

6) Analyse the film trailer for Doctor Strange. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?

One reason is there are well known actors shown in the trailer such as Bendedic cumberbatch also it is shown there are big actors on the messages at the end which is where you can see some of the well known actors and other famous people you would know .  Another great reason is the fantastic use of CLAMPS . They used all the CLAMPS  to a great extent such as the great costume on the main character which looked a million dollars and was full of colour and style , another example is the setting ; they filmed in some of the most exspensivest places in the world which all looked beautiful which all looked great , they also used much more parts of the CLAMPS which they used greatly . Another aspects is the great editing ; such as the magic and powers from doctor strange .

7) What was the production budget for Doctor Strange and how much did it make at the box office?

$165 million budget but made $ 700 million . 

8) Would you consider Doctor Strange a successful Hollywood blockbuster? Why?

Yes , because it made over $400million profit which defnitley means it is a box office hit .

1) The audience thought it was big but they did not like it in all aspects and thought that it was not funny .
