 WWW: Three solid answers to your assessment questions. For Q3 you’ve made specific reference to the Reveal cover which is positive (try and name the celebrities or use the wording from the cover where possible though). You also show an understanding of the Tatler target audience of upper-class wealthy women. Finally, you’ve caught up with the missing work on your blog which shows a very positive attitude – well done!

EBI: For Q1, you need to answer the question – what is a convention? It is a typical feature. Your magazine cover example is perfect. For Q2, it reads more like an English answer than a Media answer. You need to make specific reference to aspects of the cover (specific elements of the image, particular cover lines etc) and explain what the connotations of these are and what meanings are being communicated to the audience.

1 thing I will revise for the next exam I will learn the definitions of key phrases or words .
