Television: Introduction to Science-fiction TV drama

 1) How does Class meet the conventions of a TV drama series?

They used NCIS ; narrative : alien invasion , characters: student , iconagraphy : darkness , setting : school and more to present NCIS which is the main convention of TV drama series . 

2) What conventions of the science-fiction genre can you find in the Class trailer? List as many as you can and use NCIS to help you.

3) What other genres are suggested by the trailer (e.g. horror)? Is Class an example of a modern hybrid-genre show?
High school drama is also suggested by the trailer of class as almost half of the trailer is set in a high school . Yes because there is a bigger variety of different people .

4) Class is a spin-off from Doctor Who. At what point does the character of the Doctor appear in the trailer?
Towards the end of the trailer there is a lot of chaos and fights between aliens and humans but right at the end the doctor is shown pointing his famous wand ( the sonic screwdriver ) .

5) Who do you think the target audience for Class is? Is this a typical target audience for the science-fiction genre? Give reasons for your answer.
I think the target audience for class is teenagers . Usually the target audience is teenagers as they find science fiction entertaining class is mostly based in a school which will attract more teenagers that go to school and will relate .

At the end of the trailer there is a big flash of light which happens in doctor who .
